Owl Post #32

Inspired by The Story Siren's In My Mailbox, Owl Post allows us bloggers to showcase the books we've bought, won or received throughout the week and is hosted by Brodie over at Eleusinian Mysteries. We all know that the Owl Post is the fastest way to send and receive mail and they certainly make me happy every time they drop a book off.

Hi guys :)

Sorry I've been a bit slack with my Owl Post's lately--I've missed a couple of weeks due to being sooooo busy. Hopefully I'll be able to stay on top of it in the future. Check out what I've received lately!

For Review:

From Scholastic Australia:

- Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott
I'm yet to read anything by Victoria Scott, although I know her Dante Walker series is really popular. This sounds quite unique; I look forward to reading it.

- Nine by James Phelan
Scholastic have been kind enough to send me this series so far....all bar the first book, lol. Perhaps if and when I get myself a copy of the first book will I read this series.

......Thank you guys!

From Bloomsbury Australia.....

- Goddess by Laura Powell
This book sounds really unique. Not really sure what to make of it to be honest.

- Poppy by Mary Hooper
Poppy doesn't sound like my normal read, so I have to be honest--I don't know if and when I'll ever read it, but we'll see.

........Thank you guys!

From Simon & Schuster......

- Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker
- Four Seconds to Lose by K.A. Tucker
I've already got a copy of One Tiny Lie, book #2 in this series and when I received a copy of Four Seconds to Lose, book #3 the other day, I finally decided it was time to request a copy of book #1 Ten Tiny Breaths otherwise I'd never read this series! And it certainly looks great. Anyone read it and is a fan?

.......Thanks Greg!

From HarperCollins......

- Disruption by Jessica Shirvington

From author Trakena Prevost

- Cursed by Trakena Prevost
I was really honored to be sent a copy of Trakena Prevost's debut novel to review! This book sounds really great so I can't wait to dive into it.

....Thanks so much Trakena!

I Bought:

- Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen
I'm soooooo excited to read this book. It was my WOW a few months back and ever since I've had it pre-ordered. Not only is the cover mouthwatering but the story sounds so good. I'm gonna have to try to worm this into my reading schedule sometime in the near future!

- Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon
The Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon has got to be my fave PNR series! And I'm super excited to finally read Styxx's story. It's said to be the most anticipated story since Acheron. We'll see out it lived up. Eeep!

I Received:

The ever amazing Michelle from Novels On The Run was kind enough to get some books signed for me when she attended the Indie Authors Down Under event last month but she also sent me the above package of awesome as well! I'm always speechless at this amazing woman's kindness and awesomeness. Seriously, Mich you rock! More hugs and kisses than I can give!

And that's my goodies for this past two weeks. Lots of book goodness for me to read :)
What have you gotten recently?

  1. Nice haul of reads you have there and you are most welcome with your little lot of swag goodies :D I have to read some C.M. Stunich. I have bought all her books in one of her series. The one in the swag lot I gave you :D I have read The Collector by Victoria Scott and I really liked Dante. I shall get The Liberator next. I had a bash at getting on The Warrior blog tour, but there were only 10 spots so me thinks I failed at that. :D I absolutely adored Ten Tiny Breaths. I am so glad I have a couple books to read together now. I hate waiting when I love a series. I don't think Scholastic like me now. LOL!! I get the emails, I request the books but they don't arrive. I'm a bit confuzzed. Not unless they are sending them to Marissa who hasn't worked on the blog in like a gazillion months. I am too embarrassed to ask them. A bit of a conundrum that one. :S Enjoy your reads :D
